Public vs. Private Scenes
It’s not always easy for LGBT couples to be themselves and show affection out in public where they may not feel safe. But given their situation, why is it that these gay couples are not allowed that many opportunities to have scenes together in private?
This is a video I made for the GEP. I like how it turned out.

What happened?
In our season re-watch, we recorded 40 kisses involving New Directions’ young straight characters and only 5 for the LGBT ones. We cast a slightly broader net for the video to include named characters who kissed on screen. We didn’t include the 30 straight kisses exchanged by extras at prom and in the hallways, for example. We also used a slightly different metric for counting kisses for the purposes of this video to include only ones with very clear visuals of the kiss. It’s a video. It’s true to the spirit of Glee’s “insane double standard.” Strikingly so.
Yay my video is finally up and out to the public :D
So it’s not a Klaine fanvid or anything, but here’s my final project I made with my friends for my Video Productions class this year. It’s a Hunger Games parody. I wrote, filmed, and edited it all.
